Our Georgian Grade II listed building is a mere minute's walk from the bustling High Street with its eclectic shops and cafes. The World Heritage site, Chalice Well Gardens, and the Abbey are a comfortable stroll away. The more energetic of you will find the Tor within easy reach, too. Perfectly located for both Millfield Preparatory School and Millfield School at Street.

 

Although you're never far from history here, there's nothing old about the standard of accommodation we offer. We've spent a long time lovingly renovating the entire building to an exceptional  standard including re-wiring and re-plumbing (for which we won an award). Bove Town House was most recently a boarding house for Millfield School, but it's shaken off its dull institutional past and has been restored to its former splendour. Now you'll find it's a grand house once again with elegant rooms, a stately stone staircase, crystal chandeliers and contemporary styling

Off road private parking, free Wifi, comfortable, modern accommodation and a superb location - we have all the ingredients for a perfect stay, whatever your reason for coming to Glastonbury.

In case you're wondering, yes, we were on Channel 4's 'Four in a Bed' in 2015, an experience we would say was interesting...

"Gem in Glastonbury"

Can't thank you enough for such a lovely weekend.  So sad to leave this beautiful apartment. Everything is thought out to an amazing design, very comfy and cozy with everything you need. Such a gem in Glastonbury.  Trevor and Shannon are such great hosts, so welcoming and lovely through and through.  We both enjoyed our healing treatments from Trevor which were out of this world.  We now feel energized and centred ready to face the world again.

"Beautiful Peaceful Apartment"

This was our second stay in this apartment at Bove Town House. It is beautifully decorated and has such a peaceful atmosphere about it. It is in a perfect location, just at the top of the High Street with some stunning views of Wearyall Hill in the distance & the Tor just at the back of the house. We appreciate the little extras of tea, milk, fruit, bread etc & also the luxury of the lights coming on in the bathroom as you open the door. My hubbie also likes the safe off road parking as he is very fond of his car!!!! We visit Glastonbury regularly & intend to stay at Bove Town House whenever we can, if it is available. It is like a second home to us.

....The apartment has obviously been renovated to a high standard. Upon entering, you are greeted by its warm vibrant colors and light-hearted juxtaposition of Georgian and Contemporary elements. ... The larger bedroom with its view of the Glastonbury Tor from one window and its four poster bed is extremely welcoming. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding is of a high quality. It is always lights out without a problem! My absolute favorite part of the apartment is the bathroom. With its modern fixtures and beautiful travertine tiles, it is perhaps the crowning achievement, due in part to its strategically placed low illumination LED lights which come on when you open the door. ...The kitchen, again, a modern and well-conceived space. The uber chic rectangular subway tiles, the wall color, choice of a flat range cooktop and those twisted drawer handles give it, at least in my opinion, a very sophisticated look.... Open the drawers and cupboards and you’ll be happy to find them well-stocked with clean pots, silverware, stemware, and even Wedgwood tableware. Good taste is evident everywhere in this very elegant apartment and all the systems work well, e.g., I’ve never lost Wi-fi connection – a pet peev, as the technophiles among us know...

...We've been known to arrive at odd times due to flight delays, etc, and have always arrived to a kitchen stocked with milk, juice, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, fresh eggs, fruit, bread and even croissants!  

...You'll be hard pressed to find anything of this quality, within this level of attention to detail, at such a convenient location AND at this price point in Glastonbury. I know because I've search. There is no better value for the money...

A BIG THANKYOU for our stay in the sacred realm of Glastonbury over Samhain. I have to say the flat at Bovetown house is absolutely high end luxury. At all the places we have stayed in Glastonbury over the years, without a shadow of doubt, Bovetown house is by far the most spacious, relaxing place that we have ever encountered. The bathroom especially is just magnificent!!!

"Superb apartment and perfect location"

Everything about this apartment was wonderful. WE loved the modern twist on the Georgian style, the vibrant colours and quirky touches. The 4 poster bed was heaven to sleep on - I was out cold in seconds! The bathroom was beautifully appointed and very cool that subtle lights come on as you walk in - no fumbling for the light switch in the middle of the night, only to be blinded by a full on blaze - much appreciated. The kitchen also modern, stylish and very well appointed with everything you could want. 

But a special mention must be made about the location and the views. Just off the top of Glastonbury High Street, you are there in seconds and can be at the Abbey in about 10 minutes walk if that. And as for the views, we could see the Tor from one window and the surrounding countryside from another - just beautiful. One night, we watched the moon rise over the Tor - it was magical.

And the owners are such warm and friendly people. 

Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Thank you for the use of your apartment which we absolutely loved.  We couldn't think of anything that could be improved.  It was a nice touch having a few provisions provided.  We visit Glastonbury usually once a year just because we love the place and we will definitely be contacting you again.  We've been coming down for many years and stayed in various B&Bs and self catering accommodation, and Bove Town House was definitely the jewel in the crown.

We stayed in the studio apartment during our 4 day stay in Glastonbury. We chose This apartment primary because of its location (top of the High Street) and its availability for the dates we wanted. I must say the owners Shannon Slater Dent and partner were really helpful to us and made the stay wonderful. The studio was the height of luxury with its plush furnishings. The bathroom was beautiful and the kitchen had everything one needed. The owners had put out breakfast starter kits which included more than just the hospitality trays you get in other places and it was kitted out with fresh fruit eggs butter milk bread croissants jam cereals it was lovely and welcoming. The wifi was excellent to which was ideal for keeping in touch with home. Definitely a place I will return to stay.
